The purpose of the present Act is: a) to enable First Nations and aboriginal communities on the east side of Lake Winnipeg to engage in land use and resource management planning for designated areas of Crown land that they have traditionally used; and b) to provide designated areas of Crown land on the east side of Lake Winnipeg with special protection from development and other activities that might occur on that land.
Land Value Appraisal Commission Fees Regulation (Man. Reg. 295/87).
The present Regulation enacts the Expropriation Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to commission fees for valuation of land. In particular, section 1 establishes the fees and charges to be paid by any authority in respect of any proceeding or any class of proceeding before the Land Value Appraisal Commission which constitutes a hearing before that Commission. The text – consisting of 4 sections – deals with the following aspects: fees payable, fees for transcripts and repeal.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to land use planning in the province of Manitoba.
Land Titles Fee Regulation (Man. Reg. 171/89).
The present Regulation enacts the Real Property Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to fees charged under the Real Property Act and the Registry Act. For the purpose of the Regulation “value of the land” means the market value of the land concerned, together with all buildings and other improvements on the land or interest in the land being dealt with at the time of presentation for registration.
Posting of Crown Lands Regulation (Man. Reg. 175/95).
The present Regulation enacts the Wildlife Act. Section 2 of the present Regulation establishes that a lessee of Crown lands may post signs – subject to authorization by the competent Minister - prohibiting the hunting or trapping of wildlife on the following portions of the land leased under a particular lease. The text consists of 2 sections.
