ZOA is an international relief and recovery organization supporting vulnerable people affected by violent conflicts and natural disasters in fragile states, by helping them to realize dignified and resilient lives.

ZOA operates in more than 15 countries, in difficult locations where our field staff directly provides assistance to the most vulnerable victims of displacement. The countries in which ZOA is present are Afghanistan, Burundi, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Jordan, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Liberia, Myanmar, Philippines, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Uganda and Yemen.

L'association, Partenariat pour le développement social (PPDS), a mis en œuvre un grand projet : mettre en ligne gratuitement des informations juridiques. Il s'agit d'un projet pilote mené avec les différents acteurs. Notre association a dans le cadre de son action développé l'idée en trois axes : la création du site, le soutien à la magistrature et aux avocats.

Le Centre regroupe les chercheurs de l’Institut de politique et de gestion du développement (IOB) qui orientent tout ou une grande partie de leur recherche sur la région des grands lacs. Le Centre privilégie l’étude de développements contemporains dans les domaines politique, économique et social. Il publie chaque année un Annuaire.  La documentation extensive du Centre est incorporée dans la bibliothèque de l’IOB.

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) was established as a development coordinating conference (SADCC) in 1980 and transformed into a development community in 1992. It is an inter-governmental organisation whose goal is to promote sustainable and equitable economic growth and socio-economic development through efficient productive systems, deeper co-operation and integration, good governance and durable peace and security among fifteen Southern African Member States.

Displacement Solutions (DS) works with climate displaced persons, communities, governments and the UN to find rights-based land solutions to climate displacement. DS also works to empower displaced people and refugees to exercise their right to return and have restored to them their original homes, lands and properties through reliance on the right to restitution. DS works together with and on behalf of people who have been displaced not only by conflict, forced eviction or other human rights abuses, but also natural disaster, climate change or other circumstances beyond their control.

Créé en 2007, l’Observatoire des forêts d’Afrique centrale (OFAC) est une cellule spécialisée de la Commission des forêts d'Afrique centrale (COMIFAC) qui met à disposition des données actualisées et pertinentes sur les forêts et les écosystèmes de la région, visant à informer la prise de décisions politiques et à promouvoir une meilleure gouvernance et une gestion durable des ressources naturelles. L’OFAC bénéficie de l’appui du projet RIOFAC, financé par l’Union européenne.

The Central Africa Forest Observatory (OFAC) was created in 2007 as a specialised unit of the Central African Forests Commission (Commission des forêts d'Afrique centrale COMIFAC) to provide the up-to-date, relevant data on the region’s forests and ecosystems that is needed for policy-making and to promote better governance and sustainable management of natural resources. OFAC is supported by the EU-funded RIOFAC project.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo (French: République démocratique du Congo), also known as DR Congo, the DRC, Congo-Kinshasa or simply the Congo, is a country located in Central Africa. It is sometimes referred to by its former name of Zaire, which was its official name between 1971 and 1997.
