Esta Ley tiene por objeto regular la expropiación, ocupación temporal y la limitación del dominio de la propiedad particular, así como la indemnización respectiva. En el artículo 4º se enumeran las causas de utilidad pública susceptibles de constituir fundamento del procedimiento de expropiación. Entre las causas se contemplan las medidas necesarias para evitar la destrucción de los elementos naturales y los daños que la propiedad pueda sufrir en perjuicio de la colectividad o cuando por cualquier medio se ataque el equilibrio ecológico.

La presente ley tiene por objeto establecer las bases y procedimientos para regular la catastración de los bienes inmuebles ubicados en el Estado de Sinaloa, que incluye el inventario, deslinde, registro y valuación detallada de los bienes inmuebles. A nivel institucional, se definen las atribuciones de las autoridades competentes ya existentes y se crea el Instituto Catastral del Estado de Sinaloa.

This Act directs the Secretary of Agriculture to develop a program of land conservation and utilization in order to correct maladjustments in land use and thus assist in controlling soil erosion, reforestation, preserving natural resources, protecting fish and wildlife, developing and protecting recreational facilities, mitigating floods, preventing impairment of dams and reservoirs, developing energy resources, conserving surface and surface moisture, protecting the watersheds of navigable streams, and protecting the public lands, health, safety, and welfare.

Mediante la presente Ley se establecen los lineamientos y principios básicos para el desarrollo de las actividades catastrales; las normas de carácter técnico para la identificación, registro y valuación de los bienes inmuebles; y las bases para el uso y administración de la información catastral. La Ley define las atribuciones de las autoridades catastrales (arts. 7-14) y regula la integración del Catastro a través de los registros que se enumeran en el artículo 4º.

This Act amends the Land Tenure Act of 1992 with respect to among other things: definitions of "ownership", "Department" and "Director" (sect. 2); administration of public land (sect. 3); measures regarding violation or breach of the terms and conditions of a lease of public land. The Act also adds new sections (6A, 6B and 6C) concerning measures against misuse of land and a new section 42A which protects rights of occupiers of land under agricultural grants granted pursuant to section 41 of the principal Act in respect to, among other things, cultivation.

This Regional Law regulates allotment of agricultural land parcels pertaining to public or municipal property and establishes minimum and maximum dimensions of the aforesaid parcels. Maximum land area of agricultural land parcel owned by a single natural or legal person shall not exceed 20 percent of the total agricultural land area within the boundaries of a given municipal unit.
