The Order is made under section 21 of The Agricultural Landlord and Tenant Act, and contains the declaration by the Valuers Committee of the unimproved capital values of the different classes of agricultural land the subject of an agricultural holding. The classified lands are grazing land, dairy lands, rice land, arable land and tree crops.

The text contains 3 conservation orders ex section 7 of the Land Conservation and Improvement Act, prescribing the manner in which sugar cane is to be planted (art. 1), prohibiting the depasturizing of livestock within an area specified in the Schedule (art. 2) and prohibiting the use of sledges on any vehicular road used by the public.

The text prescribes the form used for Crown grants under section 6 of the principal Act.

The Native Land Trust Board may advertise details of all rents, royalties and premiums in respect of leases or licences related to native land received by the Board and remaining unclaimed three months after the date of deposit of the Board (reg. 2). Such unclaimed funds may be transferred to the hereby established Unclaimed Deposit Reserve Fund (reg. 3).

These Regulations implement the Native Land Trust Act on the grant of leases and licences in respect of native trust land.

The Regulations list the exemptions to which the provisions of the principal Act do not apply.
