These Regulations concern forest land management and related taxation. They describe the procedure for the assessment of taxes, exemptions, reporting requirements, planning and refunds of overpayment and provide for the “certificate of managed land” (sect. 17).
The Act provides for the conservation and efficient use of of land, forest and water resources in the Province of Alberta. It provides for the establishment of the Conservation and Utilization Committee to inform and recommend measures to the Lieutenant Governor in Council (LGC).
