The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) (Amendment) (England) Order 2008 (S.I. 550 of 2008).

This Order amends the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order 1995 in relation to England by, among other things: (a) inserting a new article 4E which makes provision for the form and content of application forms for planning permission; (b) substituting a new article 5 which contains general provisions relating to applications and follow-up procedures; (c) providing for certificates in relation to notice of applications for planning permission to be made in a prescribed form; and (d) providing anew for time periods for the determination of applications.

Decree No. 66/2001/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 04/2000/ND-CP on the enforcement of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Land Law.

Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2008 (S.I. No. 551 of 2008).

This Order amends the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990 in provisions regarding applications made to local planning authorities for listed building consent or conservation area consent and requires certificates issued under regulation 6 to be in the form published by the Secretary of State. The Order makes also consequential and transitional amendments to the principal Order.
