The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Le présent décret, en application des dispositions de l’article 74 de la loi n° 034-2009/ AN du 16 juin 2009 portant foncier rural, détermine les règles de la constatation de la non mise en valeur des terres rurales acquises à des fins d’exploitation à but lucratif et fixe les taux et modalités de perception de la taxe de non mise en valeur desdites terres.La taxe de non mise en valeur des terres rurales acquises à des fins d’exploitation à but lucratif est annuelle et obtenue en appliquant au prix de cession ou à défaut, à la valeur vénale, un taux de 20%.

This Act concerns spatial and development planning at a national and local level. It prescribes procedures for the preparation and adoption of planning instruments and concerns various matters relating to planning and development such as compensation and the acquisition and appropriation of land for planning purposes.

Registration (Strata Titles) (Amendment) Act, 2009 (No. 17 of 2009).
This Act amends the Registration (Strata Titles) Act. It, among other things, establishes the Commission of Strata Corporations and the Strata Appeals Tribunal and in provisions covering a wide variety of matters including the Strata Corporations Register, audit and proceedings of the Tribunal. The functions of the Commission shall be to: a) monitor, regulate and supervise strata corporations; (b) keep or cause to be kept a register of such corporations; (c) facilitate the resolution of disputes. The Act defines the jurisdiction of the Strata Appeals Tribunal.
Planning (Hazardous Substances) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2009 (S.I. No. 1901 of 2009).
These Regulations implement, in relation to town and country planning in England, Article 12 of Directive 96/82/EC on the control of major accident hazards involving dangerous substances in relation to inclusion of objectives in land-use policies of preventing major accidents and limiting the consequences of such accidents.
