The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

These Regulations of the Minister of Lands and Rural Resettlement made under section 39, as read with section 7(a), of the Agricultural Land Settlement Act, concern the conditions and procedures for the issuing of Agricultural Land Settlement Permit. Every permit is issued subject to the terms and conditions specified in these Regulations. The Regulations also set out the rights and obligations of permit holders.

Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) (Amendment)(England) Order 2007 (S.I. 406 of 2007).
This Order amends the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order 1995 in respect of England by adding a new Part 39 to Schedule 2. Part 39 grants planning permission in respect of the erection of buildings necessary for the purpose of housing poultry and other captive birds to protect them from avian influenza.

Small Claims Courts Act (Chapter 7:12).
This Act provides for the establishment of small courts and defines the jurisdiction of such courts. It also provides with respect to proceedings and execution of judgement. Courts are established for provinces. The area of jurisdiction of a small claims court shall be the province for which it is established. Small courts shall also have jurisdiction in some matters affecting immovable property.
