This Act makes provision for the recording of deeds, i.e. every document in writing affecting or relating to lands, tenements, or hereditaments in Montserrat. However, the Act does not apply to any document evidencing a transaction that shall be registered under the Registered Land Act.
This Act makes provision for the regulation and control of land survey practices and for this purpose establishes the Land Surveyors' Board and appoints the Chief Surveyor.
