Showing items 1 through 5 of 5.This Ordinance of the Temotu Province concerns the administration of agriculture and the control on agricultural activities in the province. The Provincial Executive may establish a Provincial Agriculture Advisory Committee, the functions of which are defined by this Ordinance.
These Regulations concern various matters concerning the management and conservation of protected areas including marine areas. Prescribed classes of protected areas are: (a) nature reserves (b) national parks; (c) natural monuments; (d) resource management areas; (e) closed area.
The purpose of this Ordinance is to assist owners of land to protect and manage their land and land based resources for conservation, custom spiritual and amenity purposes.
The High Commissioner may declare, by Proclamation, any area of land to be a national park under section 3, and may acquire private land with the area declared to be a national park pursuant to section 4. Sections 5 and 6 place restrictions on residence in parks.
