These Regulations implement various provisions of the land Surveyors Act.
This Act allows the Minister to decide that the boundary of land or of any portion thereof should be more clearly defined or ascertained.
There shall be maintained in Port Vila a Land Records Office in which shall be kept a register to be known as the Land Leases Register. A Director of Land Records shall be appointed under section 3. The Director shall prepare a survey plan for each parcel of land in accordance with section 10.

This Act provides rules relative to the carrying out of land survey and creates the Land Surveyors Board.
These Regulations implement various provisions of the land Surveyors Act.
This Act makes provision with respect to the creation and registration of leases. There shall be a Land Leases Register for the registration of each lease required to be registered by this Act. The Act defines various conditions applying to a registered lease and the effects of registration.
“Director” now means the Director of the department responsible for land". Section 2, here repealed, concerned the Director of Land Surveys.
