The present Order is made under the Territorial Lands Act. The purpose of the Order is to withdraw from disposal certain tracts of territorial lands for reindeer grazing purposes and to set apart and appropriate those tracts for use as a reindeer grazing reserve in the Northwest Territories.
The overall objective of the present National Forest Policy is the conservation, protection, management and utilisation of the nation’s forest resources, while ensuring that the productive capacity of the forests for both goods and services is maintained or enhanced.

This Act makes provision with respect to conservation of the forest, soil, water and other natural resources of Grenada. The Minister shall establish and maintain a Forestry Department within his or her Ministry, appoint forestry officers and generally promote the interests of forestry.
The present Act lays down provisions relating to forest and range practices. Section 136 establishes that the Forest Practices Board is continued.
“Crown range” means land included within the boundaries of a range district as established under this Act, but does not include land that is subject to a lease issued under the Land Act (sect. 1).
