This Decree prohibits the discharge of specified types of waste in discharge premises which from part of a specified category, including various kinds of organic waste from plants or animals.
This Decree establishes a public corporation that shall be responsible for waste collection and processing in Aruba and the maintenance of all public land. The corporation shall be managed by a council and a director. It shall observe in its operations all existing environmental norms.

The amendments, in particular those of the Environment Protection Act, concern the disposal of waste matters. Article 10.55 concerns the collection, transport and processing of hazardous waste.
This Act makes amendments principally to the Soil Protection but also the Environment Act, the Act on Economic Offences and the Act on Pollution of Surface Waters in relation with deposit in or on the soil of construction materials, soil and dredging.
This Decree defines the content of a Extraction Waste Management Plan and concerns permits as defined in section 8.1. of the Environment Protection Act or section 1 of the Act on the Pollution of Surface Waters.
