The present Law implements and completes the Federal Agriculture Act of 29 April 1998. The purpose of the present Law is to promote and improve the agriculture, including alpine economy, as well as to create a favourable framework for its sustainable development.
Article 2 of the above/mentioned Act establishes that the lessor shall notify the conclusion of a lease contract without delay to to competent authority, as well as of any modification of such a contract.
The present Law regulates the implementation of the Federal Agricultural Lease Act of 4 October 1985, the Agriculture Act of 29 April 1998 and the Federal Soil Act of 4 October 1991.
