Showing items 1 through 6 of 6.The present Regulation enforces the Law on Assignment and Reclamation of Lands in the Islamic Republic of Iran’. In particular, all lands in possession of the government and natural resources land is transferable except for grasslands, forests, national parks and lands of nomad’s migration.
The purpose of this Act is to regulate provisions regarding transfer of lands to individuals in order to make efficient use of water and fertile soil, as well as leading the country to self-sufficiency.
The purpose of this Act is to regulate general principles governing the limits of ownership of lands by individuals in the country. In particular, no one may own more than a certain amount of land in the whole country. Any land in excess shall be seized by the Government and redistributed.
After the Revolution, in 1979, the Government authorized farmers to temporarily farm in some abandoned lands. The Regulation, which consists of 31 articles, aims to transfer the ownership of these lands to the farmers in return of monthly installment of the land’s actual value.
The Act is the Statute of the Land Affairs Organization which is a state institute part of the Ministry of Agriculture.
This Law, which consists of 8 articles, is codified to amend and add a number of supplementary provisions to the Law of 21 June 1995 on Preserving the Land Use of Farms and Gardens.
