La presente Ley dicta normas sobre contratos de aparcería y otras formas de explotación de la tierra La aparcería es un contrato mediante el cual una parte que se denomina propietario acuerde con otra que se llama aparcero, explotar en mutua colaboración un fundo rural o una porción de este con el fin de repartirse entre si los frutos o utilidades que resulten de la explotación.

The Act makes provisions for the conservation and improvement of the land and water resources. It establishes the Land Conservation Board (sect. 3) to exercise general supervision over land and water resources (sect. 5a) and to make conservation orders (sect. 7), closing orders (sect. 8) and orders to do work (sect. 9). The Act regulates the acquisition of land by the Crown for public purposes. It establishes the power to acquire land for any public purpose and powers to make a preliminary investigation (sects. 3 and 4). The acquiring authority shall not compulsorily acquire land unless he has obtained a Court Order that was applied for (sect. 6).

Foreshore Protection Law, 1978.

This Law provides for the better protection of the foreshore. The law defines the foreshore as the lands within a distance not exceeding one hundred yards from high water mark, as the Minister may prescribe.
