This Law aims at ensuring the rational and sustainable use of land and natural resources.

The Order sets regulations concerning additional measures on ecotones in rural areas. It applies to regulations on reducing marginal buffer zone width, as long as it does not affect the control of Heracleum Mantegazzianum (giant Hogweed) growth. The Danish AgriFish Agency shall ensure approval of requests for reduction of ecotones, which must be submitted by 1 November 2012.

The provisions of this Act shall apply to a community- (a) which by order of the Land Claims Court is entitled to restitution under the Restitution of Land Rights Act, 1994, where that Court has ordered restitution on condition that an association be formed in accordance with the provisions of this Act; (b) entitled to or receiving property or other assistance from the State in terms of an agre
