The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Le présent décret crée une Commission d'Attributions de Terrains en Zones Urbaines (CATZU).La Commission d'Attributions de Terrains en Zones Urbaines (CATZU) est chargée de: a) Centraliser, analyser, traiter toutes les demandes de terrains en zones urbaines à usage d'habitation et industriels; b) Arrêter la liste des attributaires; c) Transmettre la liste des attributaires à la Direction en charge du Cadastre pour compétence; d) Vérifier que les attributaires se soient acquittés dans les délais requis de leurs obligations.
Land Leases (Amendment) Act (No. 38 of 1989).
A new section is inserted which prescribes that it shall be implied in every registered lease created prior to a specified date or created on or after the relevant date an agreement between the lessee and the lessor to the effect that lessee shall not dispose of the leased land or part thereof or interest comprised therewith without the previous written consent of the lessor, and the lessor shall not withhold such consent by the unreasonably.

Regional Law No. 14-oz “On objects of cultural heritage”.
This Regional Law regulates the issues of conservation, management, promotion and state protection of the objects of cultural heritage. Regional administration shall be responsible for establishment of the boundaries of protection zone of the objects of cultural heritage, land tenure regime and land-use planning within land areas containing objects of cultural heritage and decision-making related to classification of the objects of cultural heritage. Objects of cultural heritage shall be subject to mandatory state registration.
Provincial Soil Act (S.N.S. 2008, c. 9).
The present Act lays down provisions relating to provincial soil. Section 2 of the above-mentioned Act establishes that Queens Soil is declared to be the Provincial Soil of the Province. The text consists of 3 sections.
Mining Code Act (No. 886 of 2004).
The Act applies to stone, gravel, sand, clay, lime, chalk, peat, topsoil and similar elements. Exploitation of mineral deposits on land and sea must be part of a sustainable development plan which purpose is to ensure monitoring of mining areas after extraction, raw material supply, ensure that raw materials used are quality based and that raw materials shall be, where possible, replaced by waste products.
