The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

This Act concerns the creation, consolidation, discharge and release of mortgages and related matters. It also defines powers of a mortgagee and of the Court in respect of a mortgage. There shall be implied in every mortgage covenants by the mortgagor to protect the mortgagee. One of these covenants concerns a mortgage of land used for agricultural or pastoral purposes.

Decreto Nº 1.272 - Modifica el Decreto Nº 564, sobre disposiciones relativas a las licencias urbanísticas y a la legalización de asentamientos humanos constituidos por viviendas de interés social.
El presente Decreto modifica el que reglamenta las disposiciones relativas a las licencias urbanísticas, al reconocimiento de edificaciones, a la función pública que desempeñan los curadores urbanos y a la legalización de asentamientos humanos, en lo relacionado con el sistema de categorización para el trámite de estudio y expedición de licencias de construcción en función de su complejidad.
Unit Titles Act 2009.
This Act makes provision for the subdivision of land by a registered proprietor of a freehold estate or a leasehold estate in land that is subject to the Land Titles Registration Act 2008. The subdivision of land so as to provide for units shall be effected by approval under the Survey Act 2010 of a plan, which shall be drafted in accordance with this Act. Upon the approval of a unit plan, a common property in the plan vests in the body corporate created on approval of the plan.
