Cette loi porte organisation de la propriété foncière. A cette fin elle institue un service dit de la conservation foncière, chargé d'assurer aux titulaires la garantie des rôles réels qu'ils possèdent sur ces immeubles, et ce au moyen de l'immatriculation de tous les immeubles aux livres fonciers et la publication sur les livres fonciers de tous les droits réels qui s'y rapportent.

Le champ d'application des lois relatives au régime foncier, domaine public de l'Etat nº 171/AN/91, domaine privé de l'Etat nº 173/AN/91, propriété foncière nº 177/AN/91 est limité au périmètre urbain de l'agglomération de la ville de Djibouti.

This Act makes amendments in regards to the computerisation of land registration and fees thereof.

Amends: Land Registration Act (No. 622 of 1986). (1986-09-15)

“Customary land”, “private land” and “public land” shall bear the same meaning in this Act as in the Land Act. The Minister may apply the provisions of this Act to areas in which, according to the Minister, ascertainment of interests in customary land or the agricultural development of such land require the application of provisions of this Act.

This Act makes provision for the adjudication of claims to title to land and rights and interests in land by a Commissioner appointed for this purpose by the Governor-General under this Act.

La présente loi porte création du centre national de télédétection, établissement public ayant pour mission de participer à l'élaboration d'une politique nationale ainsi que d'acquérir, distribuer, traiter et archiver des données en matière de télédétection.

The purpose of the present act is to ensure the orderly carrying out of professional land surveying. The Act deals with, amongst others, matters such as the continuation of the Association of Nova Scotia Land Surveyors, its powers, acquisition and alienation of property, election zones, holding register for inspection, right of entry on land and liability, offences, etc.

The Law consists of 3 Sections composed of 14 articles dealing with the following matters: 1) general provisions (sect. 1, arts. 1-3); 2) establishment of the state registers (sect. 2, arts. 4-9); 3) keeping and utilization of the state registers (sect. 3, arts. 10-14). The present Law establishes the modalities of the establishment, keeping and liquidation of the State Registers.

This Regional Act lays down provisions with a view to guaranteeing the rational and full use of all lands, in compliance with the related legislative framework provided for in Act No. 440 of 4 August 1978. Within 12 months from the entry into force of this Act, the Region shall designate those areas falling within its own territory where abandoned lands exist.

The Act makes provision for the registration of title in land and related matters. The Act also defines characteristics of various rights in land, sets out the effects of registration if title in land and provides for the acquisition of land by prescription.As for the administration of land registration, there shall be land registry offices and officers for each registration district.
