This Ministerial Decree establishes that the State Committee on Land Resources, Geodesy and Cartography shall be the authorized state institution carrying out state regulation in the sphere of land relations, protection and rational management of land, geodetic and cartographic activity, state registration of immovable property, transactions therewith and common state policy in the aforesaid sphere. The Committee shall carry out the following tasks: (a) elaboration of priorities in the sphere of land relations; (b) state control over land tenure and land protection; (c) registration of administrative subdivision of the national territory, geographic objects and keeping the State register of geographic objects; (d) land inventory and zoning; (e) land survey practices, land monitoring and keeping state land cadastre; (f) validation of technical norms and regulations for land survey; and (g) land valuation and land charges.
