Location

The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

This Regulation, consisting of 37 sections divided into five Parts, provides for the following matters: community plans, precinct plans and neighbourhood plans (Part 2); plans relating to certain transactions, including transactions affecting community development lots, precinct development lots, neighbourhood lots, neighbourhood property, works plans and access way plans (Part 3); development contracts and management statements (Part 4); other matters of a minor, consequential or ancillary nature (Parts 1 and 5).

El presente Acuerdo aprueba el Reglamento autónomo para la adquisición de tierras, que tiene como objetivo normar el procedimiento de adquisición de tierras del Instituto de Desarrollo Agrario, para la formación de asentamientos campesinos.
