Showing items 1 through 5 of 5.The provisions of this Act shall apply only to land, interests in land, or dealings in land, registered under this Act. This Act sets forth organization, administration, duties, authorities and responsibilities of the Land Registry and registrars.
This Act sets forth procedures and principles of acquiring any land by the Government for public purposes. The acquisition of lands for public purposes shall only be made by the declaration of the Governor General.
The Ordinance makes provision for the survey and disposal of crown lands, registration of grants or lease of crown lands and for the protection of crown lands from illegal acts. All power and authority in respect of survey and disposal of crown lands shall be vested in the Governor in Council.
This Act provides for the conservation of land in St. Lucia, for the establishment of a Board to be known as the Land Conservation Board, for conferring on that Board functions as to land, and for purposes connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The constitution was promulgated by Queen Elizabeth II through an Order in Council upon independence following a request from the National Assembly.
