Tonga’s biological diversity and natural resources are protected, conserved and enriched and are appreciated and enjoyed by her present and future generations and the rest of the world.
These Regulations prohibit the taking or removal of sand from the foreshore other than the foreshore within the limits of any harbor if no written permit signed by the Minister is obtained. Likewise the taking of sand from any Crown land or any other holding without a permit is prohibited.
