The Act also regulates the procedure for the designation of such public lands.
This Regional Act lays down rules governing the tenure and management of the Regole d’Ampezzo, which are those agro-forest and pasture lands which pertain to the territories of the Veneto Region specified in article 2.
These provisions concern the rearrangement and promote the setting up of the Regole, including those regulated under Regional Act No. 48 of 1975. This Act recognizes the Regole as mountain organizations aimed at the environmental protection and economic development of mountain territories.

This Act aims at the improvement and protection of agricultural and forest resources in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, particularly through the promotion of agriculture in mountain areas. The rational exploitation of land in mountain territories is among the objectives hereby pursued.
Particular amendments are hereby laid down to Regional Act No. 42 on forestry, with regard to the approval procedure for the programme on forestry and the implementation of projects. Article 11 on the fire-fighting service is replaced by the text laid down in article 5 hereto.
