The High Commissioner may declare, by Proclamation, any area of land to be a national park under section 3, and may acquire private land with the area declared to be a national park pursuant to section 4. Sections 5 and 6 place restrictions on residence in parks. No person shall hunt in national park, but fishing is allowed and hunting for the preservation of species is allowed. Various other activities are prohibited in a national park. The High Commissioner may make rules generally for the better carrying out of purposes of this Act and in particular, may regulate, matters listed in section 14. (14 sections)
