The law lays down the general principles of inspection, the organization of the public institutions that carry out inspection functions, the rules of procedure, and the establishment of the Central Inspectorate. The law consists of several chapters: I- General Provisions, II- Purpose and Principles of Inspection, III- Organization and Function of Inspectorates at Central and Local Level, IV- General Rules on Inspection Planning and Authorizing, V- Rules of Procedure, VI- Inspection Report and Final Inspection Decision, VII- Administrative Infringements, and VIII- Final Provisions.
