The scientific journal was founded in 1951. The journal presents the results of research and practical advice on the issues of land reclamation and use of reclaimed lands. The journal is included in the list of scientific editions of the Republic of Belarus for the publication of results of dissertation research.
Настоящий справочный документ подготовлен для обсуждения вопроса о лесных экосистемных услугах и финансировании устойчивого лесопользования. В нем приводятся некоторые конкретные примеры рыночных механизмов торговли такими лесными экосистемными услугами, как снабжение населения чистой водой, создание возможностей для рекреационной деятельности, сохранение биоразнообразия и смягчение последствий изменения климата посредством секвестрации углерода лесами и замещения древесин ой других материалов.

On the basis of research and the data of large-scale soil mapping of the old drained territories new threshold values of the organic substance content in peat-mineral horizon for branch degraded histosols from agropeat soils are presented in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. In course of the study there were analyzed arable peat soils and residual glezative degroturfzems (peat and inorganic soil, mineral and residual turf, mineral and post-turf ones).
The paper presents an analysis of the institutional sphere of resource saving in Ukraine in terms
of institutional, legislative and infrastructural support. Defined the problems of each direction of institutional provision
of resource saving. Proposed four directions of improvement of institutional provision of resource saving:
organizational, legislative, financial and informational. The results can be used in the development of programs,
plans and concepts of resource management at the macro level.
This book is aimed at finding answers to questions about what the current situation with soil resources in the region of Central Asia and Southern Caucasus as related to food security, and how we can improve the food supply through the impact on the soil. The book consists of three parts. The first part is devoted to common issues of food security and sustainable development, and to the role of soil resources in their maintenance. The second part is about land resources, the assessment of their degradation and successful practices of their recovery.
