This Law makes minor changes in several different articles of the the Law No. 6292 on supporting the development of forest villagers, valuation of areas taken out of forest area borders on behalf of the Treasury and vending of agriculture lands owned by the Treasury and amending the Forest Law No. 6831.

This Order establishes the declaration of protected place. It specifies the place in the first column of the Schedule, Gadong Power Station 2, Kampong Gadong, Mukim Gadong, Brunei-Muara District, as described in the plan specified in the second column thereof deposited in the office of the Surveyor-General, is hereby declared to be a protected place for the purposes of the Act.

By this Decree, legislative acts such as the list of national forest inventory, the methods of economic valuation of forests and the state forest cadastre have been approved. The Regulation on state forest cadastre aims at registration of the forest fund for ecological, economic, quantitative and qualitative assessment.

These Regulations-(a) introduce a number of new management and capital activities in respect of which payments may be made; (b) specify the maximum payments in respect of such activities; (c) modify some of the maximum payments in respect of existing management activities; and (d) add a number of definitions.
