This Act makes rules so as to prevent and punish fraudulent conveyances of land that deceive purchasers. Such fraudulent conveyances are declared to be void. Provision is also made in respect conveyances of lands afterwards sold for good consideration.

The Act amends the Penrhyn (Naharakura Lease) Facilitation Act 1992 by inserting a new section (3A), which empowers, after due consultations, the Queen's Representative to vary, by Order in Executive Council, the Deed of Lease as referred to in section 3

This Act establishes a Small Claims Tribunal, defines its jurisdiction and provides rules relative to proceedings of the Tribunal.

This Act authorizes the grant by the Crown of land at Robinvale to the Murray Valley Aboriginal Cooperative Limited and to extinguish a Crown lease and any other encumbrances over that land.Under section 7 the Act stipulates that no compensation is payable by the Crown in respect of anything done under or arising out of this Act.

The purpose of this Act is to manage national land efficiently and to contribute to the protection of property rights of people by correcting descriptions registered in official cadastral records, but inconsistent with the actual conditions of land and by converting such cadastral records embodied in paper into digital cadastral records.
