The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Under this Act, the Minister responsible for the Culture and Sport Secretariat may designate any site, parcel of land, building, or structure of any kind to be an historic or anthropological site. The Act provides for the administration of the areas designated under the Act. The conduct of research in the areas is subject to authorization and related offences and penalties are spelled out.

St. John's Urban Region Agriculture Development Area Order, 2013 (N.L.R. 62/13).
The present Regulations are made under the Lands Act. The Regulations provide for the management of the St. John's Urban Region Agriculture Development Area. They contain provisions on use zones, public utilities, road construction, topsoil removal, non-agricultural residential development, commercial and industrial development, agricultural use and land transfer in the area. Federal Act amending the Spatial Information Infrastructure Act.
The present Act introduces some amendments to the Spatial Information Infrastructure Act (BGBl. No I 14/2010). In particular, the Act amends article3 replacing the expression “European Community” by “European Union”. Furthermore, article 4 concerning minimum requirements for the creation and maintenance of metadata is amended.
