The present Regulation determines status, the main tasks and sphere of competence of the territorial inspection of state geodetic survey attached to Federal Geodetic and Cartographic Service. The Premier decrees to validate the list of the following amendments. The modalities of licensing of geodetic and cartographic in the process of carrying out land survey and keeping state land cadastre must be coordinated with federal executive body on geodesy and cartography. Licences are issued by federal and regional executive bodies on land resources and land survey.

These Rules make provision for the procedure to be followed in respect of cases before the Lands Tribunal. They replace the Lands Tribunal Rules 1975. The Rules consolidate the procedure in relation to appeals. They no longer provided for prescribed forms to be used except in relation to applications under section 2 of the Right of Light Act 1959.

The present Regulation provides guidelines to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry on planning afforestation activities: (i) Preparation of afforestation projects; (ii) Selection of areas for afforestation; (iii) Organizing forest - social community relations; and (iv) Preparation of annual programs and location distribution tables.

The Land Registration Act 2002 makes provision about land registration and in particular provides for the appointment of the Chief Land Registrar.
