The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Common Land Use Planning Ordinance.
The present Ordinance lays down provisions implementing land use planning regulations for the common area of Berlin-Brandenburg. The specific purpose of the Ordinance is to ensure the compatibility of land use planning with the requirements of a sustainable development keeping future generations in mind. Projects of land use planning shall be dealt with by the competent authority within 6 months.
Law amending the Tyrol Land Transaction Law 1996.
