The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

This Decree concerns the Swedish Geological Survey Institute, which shall be the administrative authority for matters regarding geological formation of Sweden and the handling of minerals.The Institute shall collect and elaborate information regarding the geological condition of the subsoil and mineral resources present in Sweden. It shall also carry out survey and research on groundwater and well-drilling and collaborate with other authorities in the field of groundwater quality, nature conservation and environment protection.

These Regulations are primarily concerned with the organization of Government's responses to the threat and the occurrence of floods. The Government flood control administration is based on a system of flood control headquarters established at national and local levels, and at the level of designated major river basins such as those of the Yangtze and the Huang rivers (arts. 6 and 7). Flood control plans are to be drawn up by such Headquarters centres and by all other agencies and enterprises with flood fighting responsibilities (arts. 11 and 12).

Council Directive 96/61/EC concerning integrated pollution prevention and control

The aim of this Directive is the integrated prevention and control of pollution arising from the activities listed out in Annex I, such as energy industries, production of basic organic chemicals, waste management, production of pulp from timber, slaughtering and production of food products from animal or vegetable raw materials. This Directive lays down measures designed to prevent or reduce, as the case may be, emissions in the air, water and land from the activities aforementioned, in order to achieve a high level of the environment taken as a whole.

Esta Ley regula el régimen de utilización y disposición del patrimonio agrario de la Comunidad de Aragón, constituido por los bienes inmuebles y aquellos sobre los que se tengan derechos reales y que sean susceptibles de explotación agrícola, ganadera o mixta. La Comunidad puede adjudicar esos bienes en propiedad, pero su utilización y disposición por parte del adquirente estarán sujetas a limitaciones. Estas se reducirán gradualmente durante un cierto plazo, transcurrido el cual el adjudicatario adquirirá el pleno dominio de los bienes poseídos.
