The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

The present Ordinance implements the Land Use Planning and Building Law of 2 May 2010 and the Building Ordinance of 23 February 2011. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the correct and efficient implementation of the afore-mentioned Law and Ordinance. The text consists of 16 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Competences (1); Building application documents (2); Control stage of construction phases (3); Binding standards of specialized organizations (4); Final provisions (5).

La susdite recommandation consistant en 5 paragraphes considère certains projets de plans qui s'avèrent nécessaires pour parvenir à un aménagement harmonieux, notamment du point de vue urbain et paysager. Parmi d'autres il est établi que l'information mutuelle se fera sans intermédiaire entre les communes frontalières. Les services nationaux y mentionnés se tiennent à la dispositions des communes qui le désirent.
Commissioner on Resources and Environment Act ([RSBC 1996] Chapter 59).
This Act provides for the creation of a Commissioner on Resources and Environment responsible before the Cabinet (Executive Council) and who's role is fundamentally to advise on and develop a strategy for land use and related resource and environmental issues and on the need for legislation, policies and practices respecting these issues. The Commissioner also has coordination and monitoring duties and must take the interests of individuals, groups and Aboriginal peoples into account (sects. 3 and 4).
Regional Decree No. 304-p “On the modalities of performance of municipal land control”.
This Regional Decree establishes the modalities of performance of municipal land control by local government. Municipal land control shall be conducted in the form of ordinary and extraordinary inspections of legal persons and individual entrepreneurs. The subject of inspection shall be checking data and information contained in the documentation related to land tenure, to ensure availability and conservation of landmarks.
Government Immovable Asset Management Act (No. 19 of 2007).
This Act makes provision with respect to a uniform system for effective immovable asset management within government. "Immovable asset" means any immovable asset acquired or owned by government, excluding any right contemplated in the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002.The Act defines duties and powers of national and provincial authorities in relation with effective asset management including the disposal of state lands and lays down principles of immovable asset management.
