Two comprehensive State of Land Information (SOLI) reports have been released, providing in-depth assessments of the land data and information ecosystems in Botswana and Zambia. These reports examine the availability of land information and evaluate its compliance with open data standards. The findings highlight the strengths and weaknesses of each country's land information management practices and offer insights for targeted interventions.

The government has launched 'Mero Kitta' and Nepal Land Information System (NELIS) in a bid to facilitate realty sector in the country.
The land details from across the country will now be stored in the central server, NELIS.
This will make it easier to access the service provided by the survey offices and get the details of revenue collection, the Department of Survey has stated.
Similarly, with the Mero Kitta (my land), which is an online platform, one can submit land revenue details and print the sketch of his/her plot of land.
The Land Portal Foundation seeks dynamic and highly motivated Coordinator to establish and lead an international land-related Network of Researchers to scale up the land data and information available on the Land Portal and to cement the Land Portal’s role as a reputable sources of well-founded and accessible land information.
