This Law establishes legal, organizational and economic grounds of licensing system, the list of activities subject to licensing, the types of authorizations and permits, ensuring protection of legal rights of citizens and environment. The Act consists of 6 Sections divided into 32 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) principles of regulation of licensing system; (3) assessment procedures of regulatory documentation; (4) the modalities of issuance of authorization or permit; (5) authorities and the list of authorizations and permits; and (6) conclusive provisions. Authorization and permit shall be issued for the period of validity of the respective licence (Art. 8). Authorization and permits shall be issued for the activities performed in the following fields: (a) phytosanitary and plant quarantine; (b) veterinary; (c) sanitary and epidemiological supervision; (d) environmental protection; (e) land survey; (f) energy; and (g) transport (Art. 29).
