El presente Decreto contiene disposiciones que modifican y complementan el Reglamento del Decreto Nº 235 de 1999, con el que fue establecido el sistema de incentivos para la recuperación de suelos degradados. Las enmiendas se refieren básicamente al Programa de conservación de suelos, a la documentación que debe ser presentada junto con la solicitud de subsidio, a los criterios para la selección de los planes de manejo concursantes y al cumplimiento y pago de los planes de manejo.

This Act formulates a duty of non-citizens to develop land held in ownership, grants powers to the Minister to declare land held by non-citizens to be underdeveloped land and imposes an annual tax on the value of such underdeveloped land.In determining whether a non-citizen is fulfilling his or her responsibility under the Act to develop agricultural land, regard shall be had to the extent to which and the manner in which: (i) pasture is being maintained; (ii) arable land is being cropped; and (iii) the land is stocked where it is being used for livestock farming.

This Act makes provision for some aspects relating to the settlement on land. The Cabinet may, by Order, declare any area of Crown land to a settlement area. A settlement area shall be destined for the settlement of small agricultural holdings and the land allocated shall be subject to restrictions as to the disposal of the land and crops thereon. The Act further provides for regulation-making powers of the Cabinet.

La presente Orden modifica el Real Decreto que establece las normas de aplicación del Sistema de información geográfica de parcelas agrícolas (SIGPAC), con la finalidad de adaptar el sistema a las nuevas exigencias de la reglamentación comunitaria europea.

The purposes of these Measures are to intensify the protection of arable land, regulate the examination on the balance between the occupation and supplement of arable land and supervise the entities that occupy arable land for non-agricultural construction. The Ministry of Land and Resources shall be responsible for carrying out these Measures.

La presente Ley modifica e incorpora nuevas disposiciones a la Ley Nº 1.715 de 1996, con la que se estableció la estructura del Servicio Nacional de Reforma Agraria, abocado a realizar la reforma agraria y el régimen de distribución de tierras. Entre las nuevas disposiciones cabe destacar los párrafos del III al IX (incorporados al artículo 2º) que se refieren a la función económico-social de las tierras y áreas agrícolas.

The present Regulation implements the Farm Lands Ownership Act. Section 2 establishes that where an application is made to the Board for an exemption from any provision of the Farm Lands Ownership Act, the Board may give favourable consideration to applicants or to acquisitions of land that meet the guidelines listed in this section. Land is the public property and it shall not be liable to sale, exchange, donation, mortgage except for cases envisaged by the national legislation. Legal persons can manage land parcels on condition of land usufruct, permanent use, temporary use, and lease, while natural persons can manage land parcels on condition of lifelong hereditary land tenure, temporary land tenure and lease. Sublease of the plots of land conceded on lease shall be prohibited.

This Law sets forth legal grounds for setting up, functioning, reorganization and liquidation of peasant farms, regulates the rights and the duties thereof, and also the interrelations with other legal and natural persons.

The President, for the purpose of more efficient use of agricultural land and simplification of taxation decrees to introduce from 1 January 1999 single land tax for all the producers of agricultural commodities. The payers of single land tax shall be: (a) agricultural cooperatives (shirkats), farms and other producers of agricultural commodities except for dehkan farms. Single land tax shall be applicable to land area allotted on condition of possession, land use or lease for agricultural purposes.

This Act provides for the constitution of the Land Taxation Relief Board, for the de-rating of land for taxation purposes by the Minister, for the granting of relief from land tax and for appeals to the Minister against decisions of the Board.“Land tax” means property tax, parish rates, water rates, lighting rates or any other tax or rate based on the ownership or occupation of land.
