La presente Ley de Reforma Agraria tiene como finalidad la transformación de la estructura agraria del país y la facilitación de su desarrollo económico y social, mediante la sustitución del régimen de latifundio y minifundio por un sistema justo de propiedad, tenencia y explotación de la tierra.

This Act establishes the Environment and Land Court pursuant to Article 162 (2)(b) of the Constitution.

This Act provides with respect to the administration, structure, operations, powers, responsibilities and (additional) functions of the National Land Commission established by Article 67 of the Constitution and for certain aspects of management and administration of land in accordance with the principles of land policy set out in Article 60 of the Constitution and the national land policy.

These Rules provide that any party to a civil suit, action, cause or matter which has been brought and is pending before the Supreme Court may apply to the Chief Justice for referral of such civil suit, action, cause or matter for mediation. The mediation Judge shall have all necessary powers to facilitate mediation between and among the parties to the dispute in order to enable them to reach an agreement so as to dispose of the civil suit, action, cause or matter pending between the parties.

The present Act provides for a centralized assessment system for real property taxation. In particular, for property tax purposes, the Taxation and Property Records Division of the Department of Finance, Energy and Municipal Affairs assesses the value of all real property within the Province. Taxing authorities use property assessments to determine the tax rates needed to raise the revenue required to pay for public services. Taxation and Property Records sends property owners a Statement of Account - Property Charges that shows assessed values and the applicable charges.

This peace agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea ad seeks to resolve the misunderstanding between the parties regarding their common border and establish a neutral Boundary Commission. The parties agree that the delimitation and demarcation determinations of the Commission shall be final and binding. Each party shall respect the border so determined, as well as territorial integrity and sovereignty of the other party. The Agreement also provides for the eatblishment of a a neutral Claims Commission.

The present Regulations enforces provisions of the Cooperatives Act by prescribing forms and by regulating more in detail various matters mainly relating to internal organization and procedures of cooperative societies including registration; records of a co-operative society; membership and meeting of members; management and financial matters; and arbitration and other dispute resolution.

These Rules are determined pursuant to Article 50 of the Public Nuisance Dispute Mediation Act.According to the Public Nuisance Dispute Mediation Act, the “public nuisance” means human activities which destroy the living environment, and damage or endanger public health.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the Planning Appeal Board. The Board is responsible for hearing property assessment appeals, appeals of land use and planning decisions from throughout New Brunswick and hearing appeals of local heritage review Boards decisions under the Municipal Heritage Preservation Act. The Board is comprised of 11 regional panels from around the province, each consisting of a common chairperson and two members appointed from the respective region. The text consists of 27 sections.
