The present Act lays down provisions relating to the adjustment of structural and social adjustment in agriculture in the German Democratic Republic. The conversion of the agricultural and food sector of the German Democratic Republic to the conditions of the social market economy with a view to the currency, economic and social union with the Federal Republic of German requires a basic change in structure to be promoted. The promotion has to consider the development of markets, as well as the objectives and requirements of land use planning, environmental protection and animal protection.

This Law regulates the protection of land, systematic monitoring of the quality of soil, extent of remediation, re-cultivation, inspection and monitoring and other issues of importance for the protection and preservation (rules aimed to preserve the land surface and functions and to prevent or to eliminate specific harmful changes) of the land and soil that are considered as a natural resource of great national importance.

The present Act lays down provisions dealing with agricultural leaseholds.

This Act prescribes that it shall be a term or condition of every tenancy of an agricultural holding of a plantation specified in the First Schedule to this Act that a qualified tenant may purchase the freehold of that agricultural holding at a price to be agreed upon between the landlord and tenant. “Agricultural holding” is defined by the Security of Tenure of Small Holdings Act. A qualified tenant is a tenant that has been cultivating the holding for a specified number of years. An option to purchase shall be exercised in the form as set out in the Second Schedule to this Act.

This Act prescribes that the Ministry of Agriculture shall be considered to act as a corporation in dealings and legal proceedings regarding agricultural land. Sale and long-term lease of agricultural land are excluded from provisions of this Act. The Act also requires the Minister to report to parliament on dealings involving agricultural land.

This Act consists of 32 articles divided into the following Chapters: General Provisions (I); Principles and Aims (II); Rights and Obligations (III); Planning, Utilisation and Control (IV); Spatial Layout Plan (V); Authority and Development (VI); Transitional Provision (VII); Closing Provisions (VIII).Spatial layout is "the structural manifestation and the utilisation pattern of the space, both planned and unplanned" (art. 1, point 2.).

La presente Ley aprueba el Plan Territorial General de Cataluña de conformidad con la Ley Nº 23/1983, de 21 de noviembre, de Política Territorial, que crea instrumentos flexibles de planeamiento y establece los objetivos y los criterios para la elaboración del plan territorial general.

This Decree-Law seeks to reprivatize land expropriated in the areas subject to past agrarian reform and assigned to small farmers or cooperatives for cropping. With due regard to the agricultural land redistribution policy, the Decree-Law grants the same categories of beneficiaries full ownership of that land provided that they have farmed it effectively and rationally for a period of not less than 7 years from the date it was allocated to them.

El Estatuto de Autonomía de Castilla-La Mancha reconoce a la Junta de Comunidades competencia exclusiva en materia de agricultura y ganadería. Más concretamente, las atribuciones legislativas de la Junta se extienden a los espacios naturales protegidos, al régimen de las zonas de montaña, al aprovechamiento de los recursos forestales y a la conservación de los suelos agrícolas y forestales.

La presente Ley parte de un concepto positivo de suelo no urbanizable, de manera que no lo define como una negación residual del urbanizable así, se considera como suelo no urbanizable: (a) el dominio público natural marítimo e hidráulico, (b) los terrenos que estén sujetos a un régimen específico de protección o mejora, (c) los terrenos que reúnan valores o presenten características que, conforme a la legislación urbanística, de protección del patrimonio histórico, de conservación de la naturaleza, fauna y flora o del medio ambiente, los hagan merecedores de una especial protección, (d) lo

El comisariado ejidal es el órgano encargado de la ejecución de los acuerdos de la asamblea, así como de la representación y gestión administrativa del ejido (art. 32). Como órgano de participación de la comunidad podrá constituirse en cada ejido una junta de pobladores, integrada por los ejidatarios y avecindados del núcleo de población, la que podrá hacer propuestas sobre cuestiones relacionadas con el poblado, sus servicios públicos y los trabajos comunitarios del asentamiento humano (art. 41).

La presente Ley tiene por objeto la prevención y lucha contra incendios en zonas rurales, para lo cual se organizará un Servicio Provincial de Lucha contra Incendios (art. 2º). La autoridad de aplicación se encargará de elaborar un Plan Integral de Prevención y Lucha contra Incendios (art. 3º).
