El presente Decreto declara de emergencia nacional la conclusión del proceso de saneamiento de la propiedad agraria previsto por la Ley Nº 1.715, garantizando la participación de las organizaciones sociales y de productores (art. 2º), así como de las mujeres (art. 3º). Por saneamiento de la propiedad agraria se entiende el procedimiento técnico jurídico destinado a la regularización y perfeccionamiento del derecho propietario.

El presente Plan, que es de alcance nacional y será coordinado por la Secretaría de la Mujer de la Presidencia de la República durante el período 2008-2017, obedece al concepto de género basado en la desigualdad de las relaciones.

El presente Reglamento regula la obligación de los órganos de la administración del Estado de escuchar y considerar la opinión de las organizaciones indígenas cuando traten materias relacionadas con cuestiones indígenas, según lo establecido en el artículo 34 de la Ley Nº 19.253 sobre protección, fomento y desarrollo de los indígenas. The Agricultural Policy for Nigeria is a sectoral national policy in force for the period of 1985-2000. The main objective of the document is to further develop and improve the performance of the country’s agricultural sector.The Policy envisages a series of measures to enable more inclusive and efficient agricultural and food systems. Among others, it provides for a water supply for food crop production to be increased through the construction of irrigation structures, dams and boreholes in strategic food crop production zones.

This Proclamation of the Benishangul Gumz Regional State shall apply to any rural land found in the region. It mainly is concerned with land rights land use and administration of rural lands. Land is declared the common property of the state and people and it shall not be subjected to sale or other means of exchange. Any peasant who legally resides in the region shall have the right to hold land irrespective of gender or any other discrimination. Land administration shall be implemented through community participation. Rural land shall not be expropriated unless to use for public services.

This Rural Land Use and Administration Policy of the Afar National Regional State seeks to provide an answer to the following problems: The traditional land administration and use system is not in line with the formal government land administration and use system.

This Act makes provision with respect to improved administration of municipalities and related matters. It defines powers and functions of municipal authorities and concerns, among other things, development of culture of community participation and integrated development planning. Each municipal council must, within a prescribed period after the start of its elected term, adopt a single, inclusive and strategic plan for the development of the municipality. The Act also defines regulation-making powers of the Minister.
