This Act abolishes various special rights relating to inheritance of an estate in the condition of intestate. The Act also provides various rules relative to succession to real estate and personal estate on intestacy and relative to residuary estate held on statutory trusts for the issue of the intestate.

This Act concerns the procedures for the acquisition of land by the State for public purposes and various other matters relating to such acquisition such as assessment and award of compensation and abandonment of acquisition.The Cabinet may, with approval of the legislature, issue a Declaration for purposes of acquisition of land for public purposes.

This Act sets out the procedures, principles and criteria for the adjudication of land in an area declared to be an adjudication area by Order of the Minister made under this Act. The Act also declares all waste and unoccupied land to be Crown land.The Minister shall appoint an Adjudication Officer who shall be in charge of the adjudication of land in the area.

This Act imposes a charge on the capital gains deriving from the sale of any land and grants powers to the Governor-General to impose an additional charge on concessions made under this Act in respect of special development areas as defined by this Act.

This Act makes provision for some aspects relating to the settlement on land. The Cabinet may, by Order, declare any area of Crown land to a settlement area. A settlement area shall be destined for the settlement of small agricultural holdings and the land allocated shall be subject to restrictions as to the disposal of the land and crops thereon.

This Act makes provision, among other things, for the disposal of lands of the Land Settlement and Development Board as established under the Land Settlement and Development Board Act and the use of the Fund established under the same Act. Lands held by the Board immediately before the coming into force of this Act shall be surrendered to and vested in the Crown.

This Act lays down rules for the licensing of surveyors and the carrying out of land surveys of public and private land and provides for the appointment of a Chief Surveyor and the establishment of the Land Surveyors Board.The Chief Surveyor shall direct and control all public surveys, shall prepare and make public official maps and shall control all plans of surveys before registration of land

This Act declares the lands of the Antigua and Barbuda Sugar Factory Limited and of the Antigua and Barbuda Syndicate Estates Limited specified in the First Schedule to this Act to be vested in the Crown, freed and discharged from any mortgage in favour of the Royal Bank of Canada.

This Act provides rules relative to the holding of land in Antigua and Barbuda by a person who is not a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda.“Non-citizen” is defined by the Act. No land or mortgage on land shall be held by unlicensed non-citizens but land may be acquired under a lease not exceeding more than five years.

The present Law guarantees voluntary choice and setting up by persons that have the right to be allotted land share and property share pertaining to the property of kolkhozes, sovkhozes, inter-economic and other agricultural enterprises economic entities (enterprises) of any organizational and legal form. The Law consists of 4 Sections that contain 25 articles. Section 1 (arts.

Under this Act, the Commissioner may enter into agreements with the Government of Canada under which parties will operate for the purpose of reducing potential flood damage in the Territories; such agreements may cover, among others, mapping of areas prone to flooding, zoning of lands and the elaboration and implementation of policies to reduce potential flood damage.

This Act authorizes two or more persons, when land is granted, transferred, conveyed, assured, devised or assigned, to take the land or interest in land as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.
