The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

The National Environment Strategy and Action Plan (NESAP) 2016-2023 is developed in accordance with the the Constitution and 1996 Law on Environmental Protection and Natural Resource Management. It is aligned to Rectangular Strategy Phase III (RSIII), that reaffirms the RGC’s mission and commitment to sustainable development and poverty reduction responding to the people’s will and changing contexts of national and international developments.
Provincial Lands (Agriculture) Regulations (R.R.S. c. P-31.1 Reg. 1).
The present Regulations are mande under the Provincial Lands Act, 2016. In particular, the Regulations provide for use and ownership of agricultural land in the Province of Saskatchewan. Furthermore, the Regulations address the issue of foreign ownership, sale of provincial land, agricultural leases, leases for oil and gas development or mineral development.
Nigeria Institute of Soil Science (Establishment, etc.) Act, 2017.
This Act establishes the Nigeria Institute of Soil Science charged with responsibility for regulating the profession of Soil Science. It also establishes the Council of the Nigeria Institute of Soil Science and the Nigerian Institute of Soil and the Science Disciplinary Tribunal The Institute shall be a body corporate and shall be governed by the Council.
Deeds Registries Amendment Act, 2017 (No. 8 of 2017)..
This Act amends the Deeds Registries Act by adding a new Part (VIII) on the establishment and operation of the electronic registry. It also inserts a new Schedule setting out a user agreement between the registrar and registered users, for the purpose of regulating the use of the electronic registry by registered users.
