The present Regulation applies to the survey on the ground of mining claims as defined in the Mines and Minerals Act. Every survey of a mining claim shall be made in compliance with this Regulation. The text – consisting of 43 sections – deals with the following matters: survey where specific requirements not set out, general requirements, limits of error, connections, topography, boundary monuments, inscriptions on posts, determination of boundaries, returns of survey, where compliance with regulation impracticable and repeal.
Designated Reservoir Areas Regulation (Man. Reg. 22/88).
The present Regulation enacts the Water Resources Administration Act. Section 2 of the present Regulation establish that the Minister shall not issue a permit in respect of a building or structure within a designated reservoir area unless the building or structure is for agricultural purposes or for water control works; or b) the designated reservoir area, or that part thereof in which the building or structure is or will be situated, is under a town planning scheme, a planning scheme, or a development plan. The text consists of 9 sections.
Establishment of Designated Dyking Systems Regulation (Man. Reg. 24/88).
The present Regulation enacts the Water Resources Administration Act. Section 1 establishes that the dyking systems set out in the Schedule are established as designated dyking systems protecting the lands described therein, and each has the name given to it in the section heading preceding the description.

Surveys Act (C.C.S.M. c. S240).
This Act creates a framework for land survey by Manitoba government surveyors. The text – consisting of 48 sections deals with the following matters: lost corners and protection of monuments, surveys of Crown land, appointment of surveyors, administration, standard of measures, evidence before surveyors and surveys, re-establishment of lost corners, effect of new monuments, planting monument in new position, plans of crown lands and original boundary lines.
Farm Lands Ownership Regulation (Man. Reg. 204/87).
The present Regulation implements the Farm Lands Ownership Act. Section 2 establishes that where an application is made to the Board for an exemption from any provision of the Farm Lands Ownership Act, the Board may give favourable consideration to applicants or to acquisitions of land that meet the guidelines listed in this section. The text consists of 3 sections.
