El Plan Estratégico Económico y Social es un instrumento de planificación de alcance nacional, a ser implementado en el período 2008-2013, que constituye una hoja de ruta que busca el crecimiento económico con inclusión social del país. The Order sets out requirement standards for good agricultural and environmental conditions in order for farmers to comply with regulations on granted subsidy for land development, in accordance to the Rural Development Programme for the period 2007-2013.

The present Law defines legal, economic and social conditions of investment activities on the territory of Turkmenistan. It aims at ensuring equal protection of rights, interests and assets of a subject of investment activities regardless of property forms. Investments mean all kinds of property and intellectual values invested into the objects of entrepreneurial activities resulting in generating profit or obtaining social benefit. Such values may be the rights of land and other natural resources use, and other property rights.

This Decree aims at conservation and recovery of lands affected by radioactive and chemical contamination which pose a threat to human health and do not meet the sanitary requirements, by withdrawing them from economic circulation and transfer them to the State Reserve Fund for restoration. This Decree states that measures shall be taken against hazardous chemicals used in plant protection and mineral fertilizers in agricultural land as well as industrial and domestic waste water and waste.

These Regulations of the Minister of Lands and Rural Resettlement made under section 39, as read with section 7(a), of the Agricultural Land Settlement Act, concern the conditions and procedures for the issuing of Agricultural Land Settlement Permit. Every permit is issued subject to the terms and conditions specified in these Regulations. The Regulations also set out the rights and obligations of permit holders.

This Law lays down the rules and procedures for examining the validity of agricultural land ownership titles and defines the responsible State authorities as well as their tasks and responsibilities. The following are considered to be valid titles: (1) lands registered as agricultural land in the cadastral registers until 1.8.1991 and included in the territories administered by former agricultural cooperatives until the entry into force of Law No.

According to article 91a, paragraph 1, of the German Constitution (Grundgesetz) measures on the improvement of production methods, working conditions, management and in general in the agricultural, fishery, forestry and water sector shall be taken with the agreement of regional governments. This Decree establishes the modalities of transfer of recultivated land suitable for agricultural use, forest management and fisheries, to landowners and land tenants extracting minerals and peat, and also carrying out exploration, prospecting and other activities related to land disturbance. The period of biological recultivation of land must not exceed five years. Recultivated land destined for agricultural use until the complete restoration of soil fertility shall be classified as soil in the process of fertility restoration.
