The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Il est créé au sein du ministère de l'équipement, de l'habitat et de l'aménagement du territoire une unité de gestion par objectifs pour le suivi du projet de protection contre les inondations des zones Nord et Est du Grand Tunis placée sous l'autorité du directeur de l'hydraulique urbaine. Le projet a pour objectif d'étudier et de rechercher les solutions adéquates pour la protection contre les inondations des zones Nord et Est du Grand Tunis et d'établir le dossier d'exécution de la première tranche des travaux et le dossier d'appel d'offres.
Law No. 9890 amending and supplementing Law No. 8934 of 2002 on environmental protection.
This Law lays down several amendments and addenda to Law No. 8934 on environmental protection. In particular, it adds new definitions such as “integrated environmental permit”, “accident”, “environmental threat”, “environmental risk” , “climate change”, “clean development mechanisms”. The Law establishes the environmental cadastre under the Agency of Environment and Forestry to identify the pollution and the damages of the environment and its elements. The cadastre is the database of all the quantitative and qualitative indicators, pollution sources and the polluted areas.

Law No. 9948 on the examination of the legal validity of ownership titles relating to agricultural lands.
This Law lays down the rules and procedures for examining the validity of agricultural land ownership titles and defines the responsible State authorities as well as their tasks and responsibilities. The following are considered to be valid titles: (1) lands registered as agricultural land in the cadastral registers until 1.8.1991 and included in the territories administered by former agricultural cooperatives until the entry into force of Law No.

La presente Ley modifica el artículo 53 de la Ley que establece el Estatuto Agrario. La norma enmendada se refiere a las situaciones de mora por parte de los adjudicatarios de tierras y la relativa rescisión de la adjudicación.
