Law No. 110 "On explosives for industrial use".

This Law sets forth legal grounds for regulation of turnover of explosives on the national territory with a view of utilization of explosive energy for peaceful purposes. It shall not be applicable to military explosives. This Law covers manufacturing, testing, transport, storage, labelling, packaging, registration uses, trade and disposal of explosives for industrial use. All the aforesaid activities shall be subject to mandatory licensing and shall be performed exclusively by legal persons.

These Regulations amend the Town and Country Planning (Hazardous Substances) (Scotland) Regulations 1993. They confer transitional immunity from prosecution and contravention proceedings for a period of six months from the day these Regulations came into force and correct an error in Schedule as substituted by the Planning (Control of Major-Accident Hazards) (Scotland) Regulations 2009.

Section 171E of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 enables a local planning authority to issue a temporary stop notice ("TSN") if they think that there has been a breach of planning control and that it is expedient that the activity, or any part of it, which amounts to the breach, is stopped immediately. Section 171F(1)(a) provides that a TSN does not prohibit the use of a building as a dwelling house.

The purpose of this Directive is to achieve integrated prevention and control of pollution arising from certain industrial activities (those listed in Annex I), including energy and mineral industries, production and processing of metals, chemical industries and waste management. These provisions set out measures to prevent or reduce emissions into the air, water and land, without any prejudice to Directive 85/337/EEC and other relevant European Community provisions. In particular, the Directive defines the legal framework for issuing permits to carry out the activities above-mentioned.

This Regulation of this Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 75 articles and eight Annexes, establishes maximum levels of pollutants in waste disposal, compulsory treatment and other conditions for the disposal and the conditions and actions related to the design, construction, operation and closure of landfills and treatment after their closure.

This Decree aims at conservation and recovery of lands affected by radioactive and chemical contamination which pose a threat to human health and do not meet the sanitary requirements, by withdrawing them from economic circulation and transfer them to the State Reserve Fund for restoration. This Decree states that measures shall be taken against hazardous chemicals used in plant protection and mineral fertilizers in agricultural land as well as industrial and domestic waste water and waste.

This Law lays down several amendments and addenda to Law No. 8934 on environmental protection. In particular, it adds new definitions such as “integrated environmental permit”, “accident”, “environmental threat”, “environmental risk” , “climate change”, “clean development mechanisms”. The Law establishes the environmental cadastre under the Agency of Environment and Forestry to identify the pollution and the damages of the environment and its elements. The cadastre is the database of all the quantitative and qualitative indicators, pollution sources and the polluted areas.

This Scheme makes provision for the making of grants in respect of agricultural businesses which are at least partly situated in nitrate vulnerable zones, as defined by regulation 3(1) of the Protection of Water against Agricultural Nitrate Pollution (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and regulation 3(1) of the Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (Additional Designations) (England) (No. 2) Regulations 2002. The grant is available in relation to facilities for the handling, storage and disposal of certain farm wastes and the separation of clean and dirty water.

This Decision amends seven laws including the Law of on Ports, the Law on the Administration of Tax Collection, the Law of on the Prevention and Control of Environment Pollution Caused by Solid Wastes, the Gun Control Law, the Law on Flood Control, the Securities Investment Fund Law, and the Urban and Rural Planning Law.The Decision makes the following amendments on the Law of on Ports: changes to articles 37 on the excavation, blasting or other activities at a port that may endanger the port safety.
