IUFRO is "the" global network for forest science cooperation. It unites more than 15,000 scientists in almost 700 Member Organizations in over 110 countries, and is a member of ICSU. Scientists cooperate in IUFRO on a voluntary basis.


Our mission is to advance research excellence and knowledge sharing, and to foster the development of science-based solutions to forest-related challenges for the benefit of forests and people worldwide.

The increasing woes of millions of the disadvantaged groups of people drew attention of a group of young man and women in the year 2000 in Comilla district and they got together and decided to form an organization in order to meliorate their conditions. Consequently Darpan Samaj Unnayan Kendra was established in the same year on 14th April. Darpan is a non-governmental, non-profitable and non-political voluntary social development Organization.

NeBIO

NeBIO- an International journal of Environment and Biodiversity, a peer review quarterly official journal of North East Centre for Environmental Education and Research (NECEER), Imphal, Manipur. NECEER is a non-profit public interest research and educational organisation was established on 9th December, 2007 with an aim to educate and create awareness about the changing environment and conservation of biodiversity in North-eastern states of India through non formal education by organising training programme, workshops, campaigns, seminars, etc.

International Association for Landscape Ecology (Chapter Germany)

Fauna & Flora International (FFI), formerly the Fauna and Flora Preservation Society, is an international conservation charity and non-governmental organization.

Its mission is to conserve threatened species and ecosystems worldwide, choosing solutions that are sustainable, based on sound science, and which take into account human needs.

Its focus is on protecting biodiversity (the diversity of life on Earth), which underpins healthy ecosystems and is critical for the life support systems that humans and all other species rely on.
