La presente Ley reglamenta el loteamiento de inmuebles, entendiéndose por el mismo toda división o parcelamiento de inmueble en dos o más fracciones destinadas a la venta en zona urbana, suburbana o rural, con fines de urbanización. Todo loteamiento de inmueble privado estará sujeto a la aprobación de la Municipalidad, la cual será otorgada bajo los requisitos indicados en el artículo 2º, entre los cuales figura la declaración de impacto ambiental referente al proyecto de loteamiento presentado por el interesado.

The present Federal Law regulates relations connected with ownership, land tenure and disposal of the plots of agricultural land, sets use restrictions applicable to transactions with the plots and shares in common property of agricultural land out of which land rights shall originate or cease, determines the terms and conditions of allotment of the plots of agricultural land pertaining to public or municipal property, and also the modalities of expropriation thereof for public and municipal needs.

The present Act sets out a series of measures which are designed to respect the acquisition of farmland by non-residents. It contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed such as "acquisition", "agriculture", "public road", "commission", "lot", "farm land". Thereafter the text deals with territorial application, control of the acquisition of farm land, application for registration of the acquisition, penalties and general provisions.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to agricultural lands in the domain of the state. It applies to any agricultural land in the domain of the State, hereinafter referred to as “ungranted land”. It applies also to any agricultural land in the domain of the State considered as “land under concession”. No person may cut timber on ungranted land or on land under concession unless he is authorized to do so by the Minister, subject to paragraph 3 of Section 47, or if he fails to meet the conditions and to pay the duties prescribed by regulation.

La présente ordonnance complète le dispositif législatif en matière forestière et donne un fondement juridique à l'intervention de l'Office national des forêts (ONF) et aux actes de gestion durable : elle étend l'essentiel du code forestier à la Guyane, avec les adaptations et dispositions spécifiques rendues nécessaires par le contexte et les enjeux particuliers de la forêt guyanaise. Cette ordonnance va permettre de s'engager dans une démarche d'écocertification. Le code du domaine de l'Etat est également modifié pour tenir compte de ces adaptations.

The present Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of turnover of the plots of agricultural land and shares in common property on the plots of agricultural land. Minimum area of the newly formed parcels of agricultural land except for artificially irrigated and (or) drained land shall be of 0, 5 hectares (art. 1). The terms and conditions of privatization of agricultural land shall be established by the regional legislation (art. 2).

Model Lease Contract for the plots of land of common property.

Model Lease Contract, validated by the State Committee of Land Resources, regards lease of the parcels of land pertaining to common property that are conceded in lease. The contract is applicable to agricultural land. Land tax and levy can be reckoned in rent by separate agreement between the Parties in case of the payment thereof by leaseholder. The amount of rent can be revised by agreement between the Parties. Land disputes shall be settled in conformity with the legislation currently in force or by arbitration tribunal.
