The present Regulation enacts the Assessment Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to the valuation of port land. In particular, section 2 establishes that an assessment roll number set out in Column 1 of the Schedule is the number on an assessment roll prepared by the British Columbia Assessment Authority for the taxation year set out opposite in Column 2.

This Decree amends the Native Land Trust Act in subsection (1) of section 3 by deleting "Great Council of Chiefs" and substituting "Minister for Indigenous Affairs".

The Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of two paragraphs and two Annexes, establishes new conditions which have to be fulfilled while inserting sewage into water or land, and amends the list of substances particularly harmful to water environment. Annex 1 specifies maximum values of pollution indicators for treated industrial sewage.

This Act amends, among other things, the Land Act, 1999. Section 23 is amended by deleting word "two years" appearing in paragraph (b) of subsection (5) and substituting for it the word "five years." and a new savings provision in inserted. Section 23 concerns residential rights and incidents of land occupation.
